Lots of resolutions will be made and broken, expectations of all the good things to come and some apprehension about what the future has in store for us in this New Year of 2016.

The Club turns 97 this year and still going strong. This is due to the many volunteers who give of their time to make this Club work. A Club like the BonnyCastle cannot provide the types of activities we have without our volunteer support. With the New Year we will need additional volunteers to maintain our events, such as Derby, St. Pat’s Day, Easter Egg hunt, Christmas Parties, Dances, and the many meals we all enjoy. Please, give a thought to being a volunteer for one or more of the Club’s events. Just contact a Officer or Board member and let them know you are available to help.
I want to thank you for electing me for a second term and entrusting me with the responsibility of running this Club as your President. Our new Board of Directors are diverse both in age and experience and will surely provide the guidance necessary to maintain the high standards of the Club and initiate improvements to make the Club better. Make plans to attend the Inaugural Dinner on January 23rd, to meet and welcome the new Board of Directors.
As I have been promising for months, the Club renovations WILL BEGIN this FIRST QUARTER of 2016. These renovations may cause some changes to our activities but will be worth the wait and inconvenience.
