Before we move to March, I’d like to say “Thank you” to everyone for a tremendous February! Chili Cook-off was a Hot event, Wine Night was fun we had a overflowing crowd, Super Karaoke and Comedy Night, we really should combine those two, too funny. Chicken Dinner prepared by Team Butch was “Over the Moon”.
March 1st and Fat Tuesday start a very busy month at the Bonnycastle: Jambalaya, Gumbo and Hurricanes followed up by the Coach Jeff Walz Show Live at the Bonnycastle. Thank you Coach Walz! Dart Ball crowns a new champion on the 2nd with the banquet on the16th, Charlotte Mabry is cooking Shrimp & Grits on the 4th, arrive early!
Best of ALL, The St. Patrick’s Day Parade returns after a two year hiatus. Start the week with a “Blessing of the Keg” on the 10th, 7PM. On the 12th, the Bonnycastle Club is prepared for a full day, the Committee has been planning for months, Parade, Shirts, Irish Stew, Irish Whiskey, Guinness Stout (you will think you’re at St. James’s Gate) and live music. You will have a good time, we look forward to seeing you at some point during the day!
As for the business end, well some of it is business. Our Bar Committee has created Monthly Drink Specials, Wine and Pizza meal $10.00 includes a bottle of Wine and a Pizza, Best the deal in town. We are starting a Bonnycastle Wine Club, let me know if you would like to join, Wine tastings and Field trips to local Winery’s. We hope to bring in new Wines on a regular rotation. Plus we will pack your bottle purchase to go home with you.
The Board has selected the vendor to bring Skilled Gaming machines to the Bonnycastle Club, look for them to be up and gaming early this month! We will have two machines for a week or so and add 3-4 more later in the month. Look for an announcement on our Facebook page for a start date. See you soon at the Bonnycastle Club!
