MARCH was very busy at the Bonnycastle! Highlighted by the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Bonnycastle was front and center with a Party Bus, a Float, a convertible car and several of our members walking the route. At the Club we had Tee Shirts a Great Band and Food all day. The Bar was rocking, our bartenders Will and Pauly with Pam serving it was too much fun! Hats off to the Parade Committee and Greg Abrams for bringing the Party bus and to everyone that helped with food. The aftermath wasn’t too bad, we had a plan and it was executed perfectly by Mike Carrico, Larry Rother, Kevin Horn,
Joey Keen and Brian Meurer these men arrived early Sunday morning and had everything back to normal in what I thought was an amazingly short time. THANK YOU TO THE PARADE COMMITTEE and the CLEAN UP CREW!!
As we head into Spring and Summer we always need Volunteers. Everything from setting up and taking down tables and chairs, decorating, planning events, and cooking teams (plan your own menu). Parade Day is a great example of our members working together to make the Bonnycastle the special place it is.
Exciting news! Gaming machines have returned to the Bonnycastle. We have Six machines and they are PAYING OFF. As of this writing we have paid out over $1400, after only being at the Club for three weeks and people just starting to get used to playing again. Look for news on an exciting Grand introduction of the machines in early April.
The Board of Directors is continuing to hold adding New Members, we are currently over the limit. The waiting list today is 58 people, if you have a friend that would like to join we will accept their application, however the wait is very long and it could be a few years before they would actually get an interview. The bright side they could still attend events and visit at the Bonnycastle Club, bring them with you!!
Reminder that the Bonnycastle Club is open to Spouses 365 without the Member, during normal operating hours. Ring the bell, and we will welcome you in to enjoy the Bonnycastle Club!
