After several months of working on how to best to bring Draft Beer to our bar, we have solved all the issues and we are in the Draft Beer business today! We will offer several draft beers in a rotation starting with: Blue Moon, Atrium Brewing’s Pilsner , Hazy Little Things 6.7 abv, Goodwood, Against the Grain 35K Stout, Sam Adams Seasonal Cold Snap, Peerless Aged Bourbon Stout. We only have room for 6 different drafts at one time, John Campbell working with the Bar Committee and the bartenders will select brands to bring in as the seasons change.
I would like to thank Kevin Horn, Bill Needy, Chris Meyer and John Campbell for all their efforts helping bring back Draft Beer to The Bonnycastle Club! A lot of time and effort….a job well done!
The Board is continuing to look at options to make our Club more inviting and to use our Limited space effectively. If you have ideas, please contact me and we can discuss.
January flew by, and at the end TEAM Butch and Cowboy along with a great cooking team put on another fantastic Chicken dinner. A large turnout attended and for $10 left very full and happy! TJ Eschner’s TEAM had a fabulous Wing Night! Overall it was a very active month with Football, Karaoke, Dartball, Texas Hold-em and for the UK fans…Basketball. What I noticed was our attendance has picked up, more of a pre-COVID feel. Thank you!
February is shaping up to be another great month, Fish Fry on the 10th, Super Bowl Party, Music Bingo, Karaoke, Mardi Gras on the 21st, Chili Bowl Cook-off on the 25th, if you make good Chili get entered with Chris Whigham and we end the month with TEAM MARKO Chicken Dinner on the 26th.
TJ Echsner is heading the St. Patrick’s Day Parade tee shirts committee, only a couple of spots remain to advertise your business on the back. Cost is $60 and you provide a digital format of your LOGO. TJ request you have everything to him by February 10th so we can get the order to our vendor. Member Tee Shirt cost will be $5.00.
Speaking of St. Patrick’s Day Parade, March 11th the Bonnycastle Club is the place to be, MARK it on your Calendar! John Campbell will have Guinness on Draft, Jamison’s, Bushmill’s, Red Breast Whiskey and Harp’s Beer on the Bar. Look for all the details on activities for Parade day coming soon!
