Dear Bonnycastle Members:
Happy Thanksgiving! This has always been my favorite holiday of the year. No pressure of buying the perfect gift, dressing up as a monster, buying candy, sending flowers, this list goes on. Just having a meal with family and friends and giving thanks for all of our blessings. And this year, like many others, we have a lot to be thankful for at The Bonny. So, my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for being a part of my life, for the work you do at the club, and for many more happy years to come. A huge thank you to all of our employees, past and present this year. The club runs because of our manager – both Don and Bobby this year, bartenders – Will, Tom, Chris, waitresses – thanks Kelly, Renee, cleaning crew, Dorothy. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
Speaking of giving thanks….Thanks to all who volunteered this month. This includes: JD Malcom for running dartball on Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursday hosted by John Valentine, Wings prepared by Gordon Witting, Mike Jury, Ron Netherton, Larry Marko, Fish by the Packwood Crew, Brian Harlow for organizing Music Night, Pat Pfister and team for fixing a wonderful pasta dinner, Chicken Dinner Crew for the always high quality dinner. Bobby Zirnheld for organizing a wine tasting, and Trivia Night.
Club Elections are this coming Monday – December 1, 2014 from 5-7 PM – this is a Members Only event at the club. Please come and vote! Saturday December 6 is Bardstown Road Aglow! Which means Fondue Fantasy hosted by John Valentine. Please bring a dish to this pot luck dinner. Bring friends and family to show off our club. This is always one of my favorite events at the club. Stay tuned to the calendar for upcoming events in December.
