“October’s the month, When the smallest breeze Gives us a shower of autumn leaves. With Bonfires and Pumpkins, and Leaves sailing down, October is Red and Golden and Brown.”

Yes, October starts the 4th Quarter of the year and with it starts the Holiday Season. We are really starting this 4th Quarter off with a BANG, thanks to Chris Whigham our activity Chairman. Come to the Club for our first Oktoberfest on October 8th, with plenty of German Food and Fun. Please Sign up at the Bar if you are planning to attend. The following week is the return of Mark Klein and company for a night of laughs you won’t want to miss.
October 3rd is our General Membership meeting with food as usual. I will be presenting By Law Changes to be voted on at the April meeting. Dartball season is now in full swing, thanks to our Commissioner Barry Williams, also every Dartball night John Petrie of the Feed Bag will be providing food for the Dartballers and any other Club members at a modest price. For all you Golfers, the Fall Golf Scramble is set for October 20th if we have enough interest, so please sign up at the Bar as soon as possible. If that’s not enough our Halloween and Scaryoke Party is scheduled for the 29th. Wear a costume or come as you are for a fun night with friends at the Club.
Sunday’s continues to be the place to have a good meal, a great drink, and to be with friends. The weekly drawing has produced a couple of big money winners and lots of fun.
Invite your friends to the Club for our regular monthly events such as Wings, Fish, Short Order & Bingo, Chicken Sunday, or for any of our Special Events and show off our renovations, and most important ask them to join.
See you at the Club,
Bill Ritz- President
