There is something about Christmas that makes everyone feel spirited, happy, and excited. Christmas brings out the child within. The festive air is contagious; even the most despairing soul cannot help but feel enthused by the vibrancy of the season. Happy holidays! Enjoy your eggnog while you read my letter.
A Christmas wish to all of you, to have the very best Christmas ever. The best of all gifts around any Christmas tree is the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other. Here at the Bonny, we want the Christmas spirit to be shared with each and every member.
The Club has a great December planned with the annual Children’s Christmas Party with Santa and Mrs. Claus, gifts and a fun time on the 17th. The Adult Membership Christmas Party with all the trimmings and the 3rd annual silent auction on the 16th.
To close out December and 2017, there will be our New Year’s Eve Party with live music champagne toast and a light breakfast. Sign up will be at the Bar for New Year’s Eve, so get there early and sign up as this event usually sells out.
DON’T FORGET DECEMBER 4th IS THE CLUBS ELECTIONS.
Come early for food. As always, members only during elections from 6 to 8 PM.
Our weekly and daily drawings are on hold. The Club continues to be the place to have a good meal, a great drink, and to be with friends so come on down.
It has been a great 3 years as President, with lots of new Club activities and many improvements, and of course a lot of new members. I have had the honor to preside over an outstanding group of members who make up your Board of Directors and hope you will continue to support the Board in the coming years.
