Coach’s Corner October 2021
CLUB BUSINESS: Member and Locker Dues Invoices have been mailed. They were mailed on September 13th. Following Club By- Laws, Dues are payable October 1st of each year. Upon failure to pay within the calendar month of October, the member is automatically expelled from the club.
On October 4th we will hold the General Membership meeting, starting at 7pm. Please plan to attend.
The Board has implemented a plan regarding COVID and how we will proceed moving forward, pending any government mandates. A very large percentage of our Members have been vaccinated. It was determined that we would continue to have regular hours. The idea is for you to decide on how you determine the precautions YOU take, to help make you feel comfortable at the Club. Practice social distancing, wear your PPE if you choose, wash your hands. We have reinstalled the clear barriers on the Bar to help keep the bartenders safe. Please DO NOT remove them from the Bar. If the shields block your view of the TVs relocate to another seat.
Many fun events are planned for October. Chicken Dinner, Wing Night and Thirsty Thursdays. See the attached Calendar. (Calendar Note: October 2 shows “A Night At The Bonny” at 6pm. It is now live dance music with Barb & Friends, formerly Barb & Eddie, at 8pm).
As the Holiday season approaches, make sure to get your reservations for the Pflumm Room and Zip Room if you are planning a party.
I would like to start a new feature to the Monthly newsletter. Get to know a Bonnycastle Member. Would you like to recommend a Member or Family member to be featured? Great examples would be Robert & Gloria Gibson, Butch & Pam Gruneisen and Ron & Mary Lee Arnold. All married many years, and long time Bonnycastle Members. So many stories and adventures. Or meet a New Member. You’d be surprised how interesting these new members are and how they arrived at the Bonnycastle Club.
